After years could only find relics of prehistoric animals, a Canadian paleontologists are planning to create a dinosaur with manipulating chicken embryos. Hans Larsson, Chairman of Macro Evolution Researchers at McGill University Montreal, said that by using the bird he intended to develop the dinosaurs that have disappeared millions of years ago. Larsson believes the reverse certain genetic levers cells during the development of chicken embryos it can form the body structure of a dinosaur.
Although it is still in development, this research could lead to revive prehistoric animals. But Larsson said it is difficult to realize in the near future because of ethical reasons. Larsson has studied the evolution of the birds for 10 years. "I can demonstrate clearly that the birds have the potential to develop the body structure of the dinosaurs, it illustrates that birds are direct descendants of dinosaurs" he added.
The rationale of this project came when the discussions with paleontologists Jack Horner an American who acted as technical adviser on the film Jurassic Park. Horner recently wrote a book called "How to Build a Dinosaur", which he refers to experiments in creating chickenosaurus embryos.
Larsson research group previously tried to find the remains of prehistoric animals, including 8 species of dinosaurs that are not known and 5 new types of crocodiles in Nigeria. They also found a relic of new species of carnivorous dinosaur in Argentina.
