Strange Apple - Half Green Half Red

Half green half red apple - A rare Apple was found on a farm Colaton Raleigh, Devon, England. Allegedly the result of mutation, apple color is divided exactly half green and half red. Morrish, 72, is a farmer who planted apple said, "It's incredible. Like seeing pieces of red and green apples are then put together". As quoted from Daily Telegraph, Morrish intended to take some apples for his brothers when he saw the strange apple.
Experts believe that the apple is rare and strange, there is only one of the millions of apples. In conditions like these apples, the red apple is sweeter than the usual side of the green because the red side more exposed to the sun while growing. John Breach, Director of the British Independent Fruit Growers Association, claimed to have never seen such a rare case. "This mutation results that extreme," he said.

Jim Arbury, the fruit expert, said the exact color of apple with half red and half green may be the result of random genetic mutations. "This is known as a chimera in which one of the first two cells grow differently."

Muhammad Akbar Risuddin, baby from Indonesia is breaking the record as the biggest baby in the world. Birth of a baby boy weighing 8.7 kilograms in North Sumatra is not only shocking the media and the world. Dozens of people went to the Abdul Manan hospital, where Muhammad Akbar Risuddin born. With triple size of a normal baby, Akbar, who was born Monday, September 21, 2009 was recorded as the biggest baby from Indonesia.
"I was very surprised, I think these twins," said the doctor who handled the birth of Akbar, Binsar Sitanggang, Friday, September 25, 2009. Binsar said, it took longer to remove Akbar from his mother's womb. "He's hard to breathe at birth, fortunately he is now in a good condition," he added.


Akbar's Parents , Hasanuddin and Ani told that they have two big babies before Akbar, but not as big as Akbar. "Akbar's body like a baby aged 9 or 10 months," said Binsar. The Most Preserved Mummy - Rosalia Lombardo

Rosalia Lombardo, the most preserved mummy ever found. Laying in a wooden - glass covered coffin at the Capuchin Catacombs, Palermo, Italy. By looking at the photo below, Rosalia seems newly die one day ago, that's why she is often referred to as The Sleeping Beauty. In fact, this girl was died about 90 years ago. Rosalia died in December 6, 1920 because of bronchial infection when she was 2 years old. The mummy became famous because its excellent preservation of her body. Rosalia's embalmer was Professor Alfredo Salafia, an Italian chemist who discovered a way to preserve bodies using a special formula.

Rosalia Lombardo is not alone, in the Capuchin Catacombs there are another 2000 mummies which are 400 years older. She was one of the last few persons to be mummified after which the process was banned finally. As you can see on the picture below, mummies are preserved at different level, some of them still have nose and cheek in place but others are not in the best shape.
