Blind Boy Who Can use Vision like Dolphin – Ben Underwood

Ben Underwood lost his sight on age 3 because of a cancer called retinoblastoma. But he could do activities like normal sight people such as played baseball, jogging, karate, danced, rode a bike, etc. He trained himself to make clicking noises with his tongue and listening to the sound waves he created. This method called echolocation. His ability can be found on animals like dolphins and bats, but very rarely found on human.


He became famous when his story appeared to the public in The Bee in May 2006. Then he made inspirational speeches from Britain to Japan and attended Oprah Winfrey Show. But, this amazing boy had to surrender because of tumor in his sinus cavity. Ben Underwood died on age 17 at home with his loving family surround him.

Dangerous Food (FUGU)

I imagine that eating fugu is like gambling with death. Fugu is one of the most poisonous fish and even deadly. If you eat this food then the risk is dead, Fugu is one of the special foods in Japan. In fact, this fish eggs is known as a very valuable food. This fish has ability to inflate its body, and in Western Japan, Fugu is called Fuku which means "blow" or "happiness."

There's an old quotes in Japan that said "I want to eat Fugu, but I do not want to die." Toxin in this fish is very dangerous, that can cause sudden death, thus only licensed chefs who can prepare the food. Getting licensed chef is difficult; you must have the ability and specific knowledge of Fugu because each type of Fugu has different toxic. Furthermore, thanks to tight regulations, the number of deaths victims can be reduced. Hmmmm, I think now I want to eat this food.

The Fattest Cat in The world (Prince Chunk)

The Fattest Cat in The world named Prince Chunk. A vet found this cat while walking on the streets of Voorhees, New Jersey. This cat has 20 kg weight, but the examination result showed he was very healthy, though overweight. This cat was 10 years old and the name is Prince Chunk. Previously this cat name is Powder, but he had lost his owner so he becomes homeless cat. Because Prince Chunk has very funny body, so many people trying to make him as their home pet. There were 400 people planning to adopt him, but the Camden County Animal Shelter finally chose a family in New Jersey to adopt him.

Boy Has Same IQ As Einstein (2 Year Old Boy)

Two year old boy has same IQ as Einstein. Oscar is a two years five months and 11 days child, but have the IQ of at least 160 like Einstein. Gifted Children's Information Center in Solihul said that Oscar has been ranked with the scale of Stanford-Binet test, but unfortunately this test can not measure more than 160. Oscar's father named Joe (29), he is the IT specialist from Reading in Berkshire, said that her son often asks about everything. Oscar someday tells her mother about the reproductive cycle of penguins. At a young age he was also able to construct complex sentences. His parents knew that their son is special, but did not think that he is a genius. According to Dr Peter Congdon (Oscar's assessor) he was a "child of very superior intelligence".

The Most Preserved Mummy - Rosalia Lombardo

Rosalia Lombardo, the most preserved mummy ever found. Laying in a wooden - glass covered coffin at the Capuchin Catacombs, Palermo, Italy. By looking at the photo below, Rosalia seems newly die one day ago, that's why she is often referred to as The Sleeping Beauty. In fact, this girl was died about 90 years ago. Rosalia died in December 6, 1920 because of bronchial infection when she was 2 years old. The mummy became famous because its excellent preservation of her body. Rosalia's embalmer was Professor Alfredo Salafia, an Italian chemist who discovered a way to preserve bodies using a special formula.

Rosalia Lombardo is not alone, in the Capuchin Catacombs there are another 2000 mummies which are 400 years older. She was one of the last few persons to be mummified after which the process was banned finally. As you can see on the picture below, mummies are preserved at different level, some of them still have nose and cheek in place but others are not in the best shape.
